INCLUDED: Interested in scorpions? Take a short half hour walk around the lodge with our experienced guides once the sun sets, either before or after dinner. We use a special ultra-violet flashlight which illuminates the scorpions due to the absorbent molecules in its exoskeleton as they walk across the rock surface looking for prey. Try to find the tiny ‘Neobuthus kloppersi’ which was newly discovered by one of our managers Johan and the very large Emperor scorpion among others. Walking shoes or boots advised!
