Purposeful Packer Rozanna

It’s just a thing! Dump the impractical and rid yourself of all those unnecessary items you lug around the globe and never use when on holiday. ‘Pack for a Purpose’ is a non-profit organization that allows you to do just that. The added initiative allows you to participate in a meaningful way to benefit the less fortunate surrounding communities in the area you are visiting, in our case, when coming on safari in Kenya.

Recent repeat guest Rozanna Boz from Oz, shared a number of fantastic images and videos of her recent visit to the Kiltimany Primary School, located in Samburu, Northern Kenya, choosing to go in-person to donate her incredibly bountiful contribution which included coloured footballs for boys and girls donated by Nike Australia, which were a HUGE hit!

Rozanna, whose generosity knows no bounds taking full advantage of her extra luggage space, says I ended up spending well over 2 hours out there, could have spent the whole day to be honest – it would have been lovely to spend more time with the kindergarten babies and even see reactions to the other supplies, but that can happen the next time I visit :-)’’.

‘’Small Space, Little Effort, Big Impact’’, the motto used for ‘Pack for a Purpose’ which couldn’t be nearer to the truth with their easy to navigate website ensuring minimal effort for the traveler to know exactly what is needed. Interested in jumping on-board this great initiative on your next visit? Take a look HERE at how you can make your next journey a generous one!

Check out Rozanna’s warm welcome from the Kalama Community students – and see them in action (girls included!) with the footballs. Pele – eat your heart out!
